Neutral Boho Baby Room Tour!
Okay, so I wrote this post and had it totally ready to post weeks before I gave birth, but I somehow never got around to actually posting it – whoops! So, I added in a few new photos now that Bekam is here!
OH MY GOSH! I’m so excited about this post probably for obvious reasons. It probably comes as a surprise to exactly zero people that designing a nursery for our baby is one of the things I was (& still am) most excited about. I know that’s probably not what I should be most excited about, but I’m just being honest haha! I’m not sure it gets much cuter than a baby room or more fun than creating a baby’s room!
Anyways, I thought I’d do a room tour post because I LOVE room tours and seeing all of the little details that make up a room. I’m pretty nosey so that’s probably part of the reason too – ha! I also like that I can share ALLL of the photos and the reasons behind decorating choices that I can’t on Instagram because it would proably annoy everyone. But, I can annoy you on here!
Anyways, let’s get started!
OH! Also, basically everything in the nursery is linked at the bottom of this post! Hopefully that’s helpful! 🙂
PS. If you’re into room tours, you can also find a pretty office room tour HERE!
Before & After
First a little before and after action, because there’s nothing more satisfying than a good before and after!
I cannot even believe what a difference that board and batten wall made in the room!! The post on how to make a board and batten wall is coming next week 🙂
Room Tour
Okay, time to see the rest of the room!
I love this view and that baby swing! Every time I show someone the nursery they comment on that swing without fail! It’s so so cute and just from Amazon!!
Here’s the lil reading nook! My very favourite thing to do with kids is read with them and I have always LOVED kids books, so a book wall was a must for me! These shelves will probably be full of books at some point, but since I don’t have enough to fill the shelves yet, I added some toys, and I love the way it looks!
PS. Pretty much everything in the nursery is linked at the end of this post!
The changing station! I LOVE this lil spot! The changing basket is my dreammmm, and I love that I can hang cutie clothes on the hooks!
Can you even with that tiny outfit!?
A moses basket was the thing I wanted the most, it’s just so beautiful and so useful (as I’m told) I love that I can move it around the house! But, for now it lives in this lil corner of the nursery.
The play gym and the swing are to flippin adorable if you ask me!
This rocking chair is the one from my childhood that my mom rocked me in. It was stained a dark orangey color. So, Brennan spent hoursss sanding it for me, and I love it so much!!
The closet isn’t very beautiful or styled, but I just love those tiny newborn clothes and little shoes!
ALSO, those two boxes on the top left are the most amazing baby memory box system ever!! I’ll link it here cause they are just too good!
Can’t believe there will be a baby in that basket soon *mind blown*
And here he is in that baby basket! 🙂
Probably the most special thing in the baby room is that little wall hanging. Brennan’s (my husband’s) older sister got it for us. When Brennan was three he MADE UP that poem based on his fave book. She wrote it down one day while she was babysitting him, kept it all these years and then made it into this beautiful wall hanging! So, so special!
