DIY Valentines Love Letter Earrings

We’re only a few days away from Valentines Day (it’s on Sunday in case you forgot – ha!) and I always like a little something festive to wear without being over the top – you know?! I mean, I love when people go all out, but I’m more of a pink shirt and something with a heart on it kind of girl.

Anyways, I whipped up these lil love letter earrings, inspired by the DIY Valentines love letter garland that I made last year (and loooove). They’re so easy you could easily make em the night of February 13th if you wanted to!

Well I think it’s time to get started on making these bad boys!

SUPPLIES

Oven Bake Clay:
Pink
White

Small lid (to cut out circles)

6mm jump rings

8mm earring post & clutch (mine came in a pack)

Super Glue

Exacto Knife

Pliers

Needle

DIRECTIONS

1. Roll out your white clay and cut out two rectangles with your exacto knife, by cutting out one long rectangle and then cutting that in half.
2. Use your exacto knife to draw envelope “folds” onto your clay rectangles.
3. Take your pink clay and roll out two veryyy tiny pink circles and then flatten them. Then use your exacto knife to cut them into a heart shape. Cut a ‘V’ shape at the bottom and a notch at the top. Then place onto your envelopes.
4. Roll your pink clay out flat and then use a circle cutter or a lid (I used a marker lid) to cut two circles.
5. Use your needle to poke a hole in the top of both your envelopes and circles.
6. Glue your earrings backs onto your pink circles. Then, use your pliers to attach jump rings onto pink circles, then add your envelopes. That’s it!!! Let the glue dry and the you’re done!!!
