DIY Hanging Plant Pockets
I made this post over a year ago, I recently realized that I never posted it, so I’m posting it now because I still love it sooo much! Okay, enjoy!
This is my first plant related post and I have a good feeling there will be a lotttt more! Anyways, plant pockets. The inspiration for this DIY was born out of just wanting some hanging plants on this one empty section of my wall, I thought about ordering some on amazon, but since plant pockets are a newer trend, I feel like most of them (at least the ones I’ve seen) seriously lack personality and uniqueness, so I became determined to make my own, and was determined to make it a super easy DIY, which is obviously a priority for me – ha!
Ps. On the other side of this mirror I have my hanging earring holder which is also a super easy DIY! So check that one out too 🙂
I originally made a geometric, triangular one, and let me tell yah, it didn’t turn out super great, it took forever to make, and was the same style as the ones you’ll find in the stores. So I gave it to one of my friends, and set out to make something easier and more original, so here we are!
Like I mentioned before this DIY is super easy (& super cheap!), and would make a great gift BUT since I used air dry clay it takes foreverrrr to dry, so fair warning if you’re on a time crunch or are a super impatient person like myself, haha. Okay, I think it’s time to get to the DIY! Yes or yes?!
SUPPLIES:
Crayola Air-dry Clay
(one container made me 5 plant pockets and I still have a bunch left over!)
Water dish
Exacto knife
Wax paper
Rolling pin
Ruler
Straw
Needle
Tape
Thread
White Paint
Plants!!!

That’s it! I love love how these turned out and I really do think that they would make the PERFECT gift, but of course you can just make them for yourself too 😉
Pretty please tag or DM me @mikylacreates if you make them! See yah next week!
