Christmas Gift Guide: For Babies

I’ve spent an embarrassing amount of time searching for the cutest toys and gifts for our 6 month old Bekam, I decided that I might as well share my findings so that’s it’s not a *total* waste of time – ha! I mean I’ve always thought that Christmas shopping was fun, but shopping for a baby is next level, it’s so so flipping cute! I’ve included things that are on Bekam’s Christmas list, plus things we already have and love!

Anyways, head below for my little explanations of each item, plus a link to each one!!

The Cutest Baby Christmas List:

1. Alphabet Puzzle

This one is from Crate and Barrel and is on Bekam’s Christmas list! Brennan really wants Bek to have a puzzle, haha, and this one is so cute, plus there’s a chalkboard on the back!

2. Stacking Rainbow

We have this and it’s great because there are a lot of stacking rainbows out there, but this one is also a TEETHER, it’s rubbery and Bek loves to chew on the different pieces and take the rainbow apart!

3. Wooden Rattle

I got this early on in my pregnancy, admittedly because it was so cute, but turns out it is Bekam’s favorite toy, even more than his colorful ones, or rubber ones, he LOVES this little rattle – holding it, chewing on it, & shaking it.

4. Smiley Face Beanie

We now live in snowy Canada, so beanies (or toques as we call them here) are a must. Plus, I’ve decided that a baby in a beanie is the cutest thing in the world. I cannot get over how adorable this one is!

5. Baby Walker

I love how interactive this baby walker is, plus it has storage to carry things, and it’s so, so cute!

6. Activity Book

I found this on Etsy and I’m IN LOVE! It IS pricey, but it’s so cool! It’s a custom felt activity book, and you get to choose the pages that you put in it – and all the pages are so fun and super interactive!

7. Stacking Cups

We have these, and they are so great! I had something like these as a kid and I remember loving them! They also have holes at the bottom in different shapes, so they are the perfect bath toy!

8. Corduroy Hat

Again, babies in hats is THE cutest, and this one is just too much!!

9. Wooden Camera Toy

Bekam has loved his wooden toys and I love that he can wear this one around his neck, plus it’s a tiny camera (!!!)

10. Crinkle Book

What is with babies and crinkle books!? Bekam has this and it in his top 3 toys for sure! It has velcro pieces, flaps, a mirror, and of course it crinkles – plus it’s cute!

11. Activity Cube

If you follow me on Instagram the you probably know that our gift to Bekam this year is an activity cube that we are making, but it’s you aren’t insane like me and want to just buy one (a better idea, haha) then this one is great!!

12. The World Needs Who You Were Made To Be

We have this book and love it!! Such a sweet lesson and fun illustrations, and, I mean, it’s by Joanna Gaines, so…

13. ‘Home’ Book

This book is on Bekam’s Christmas list – love!!

14. Blue Beanie

Another beanie because again, babies in hats is the cutest.

15. Gathre Mat

We have a mini version of this as his changing mat and love it – We’ve got a bigger version on Bekam’s Christmas list because the leather material makes it so easy to clean and you can use it as a highchair mat, play mat, or picnic blanket!

I try to not have too much baby gear or too many toys, so I try to focus on getting fewer things that are really good quality and really cute, plus things that can grow with him, and that he’ll hopefully play with and use for a long time.
