DIY Wooden Curtain Rod for $10

Hi!! So, my husband really wanted black out curtains for our bedrooms, so we bought some curtains (these are the ones we got) BUT we still needed curtain rods. It can get a little pricey when you’re getting a bunch, so we ended up making our own for just over $10 each. Which is wayyy less than even the cheapest option in the store – and way cuter too! They ended up being even easier to make and hang than the regular store bought curtain rod was to hang in our living room – HA! It really is that easy to make!!

DIY Boho Functional Ikea Play Kitchen Hack

So, I should start off by saying that I’ve wanted to redo one of these IKEA Duktig play kitchens long before I ever even had a baby to make one for. Last Christmas I had already decided that this Christmas I would make Bekam one because he’d be old enough. BUT I was too excited and made it for him in September – ha! I figured that he’s still too young to understand Christmas, and it’s better to space the toys out anyways. SO, all that to say that this DIY project is a long time coming and I am SO happy with how it turned out! Plus I added running water which he LOVES!

DIY Painted Foliage Wallpaper

This giant wall in our bedroom has stumped me for months, it’s tall, huge, and a strange shape, I couldn’t figure out how to decorate it. Finally, I decided to add bead board to give this big blank wall some character. I haven’t really included a tutorial on how to install bead board because there are sooo many out there already!
