DIY Patterned Backpack Makeover

Back to school season is upon us and though it may look a little different this year (read: VERY different) we still need to enjoy the best part of back to school: cute school supplies! As a kid school supplies shopping was like heaven (lol), and honestly that hasn’t changed even though I’m not in school anymore. The most important of the school supplies is of course your backpack! Even though a lot of kids may not actually be going back to school, a cute backpack is ALWAYS a good idea. Even as a fully grown adult I am in love with cute backpacks (wish I were kidding).

DIY Friends Show Themed 90s Shoes

Tulip Color asked me to create a 90’s inspired DIY with their fabric markers and I immediately thought ‘FRIENDS’. I can’t be the only one who’s still sad that they took it off Netflix?! The 90’s are definitely already back with scrunchies, mom jeans and oversized tees, and I gotta tell you, I’m loving it! Which is why I was so excited to create friends themed shoes, because honestly all of my 90’s fashion inspiration comes from that show! The shoes I created have more of a ‘Phoebe’ vibe, but I had to add Joey’s signature line (how you doin?) on the back!

How to Paint An Ombre Bike

If you know me, you know that there are few things that make me happier than riding my bike. There are also not many things that bring me more joy than a pretty bike (especially if the basket is full of flowers). SO when ColorShot asked me to take an old, ugly bike that had been sitting in a garage for fifteen years (yes, fifteen) and give it a makeover to make it pretty again, I was excited but also a little skeptical.
