DIY Monogrammed Rainbow Doormat
Hey guys! Today’s post has lots of fall vibes, but this doormat totally works year-round! I LOVE doormat DIYs because they are so easy and inexpensive, plus they get the cozy vibes started before you even walk in the door! I think they make a huge impact, and because they are so inexpensive you can swap them out and make a new one when you want a little change!

For this fun DIY I partnered with Tulip Color, I used their fabric spray paint, and their letter stencils! I had never used fabric spray paint before, and now I have so many ideas of others fun DIY ideas that I could make with it! Their letter stencils are great because it takes all of the pressure out of this project, all you got to do is spray – no artistic skills required!
Tulip has a bunch of colors of fabric spray paint, they even have metallics like gold and silver! But, for my mat I wanted to keep it simple and modern, so I just stuck with black, which covered SO well! I also love that this mat is personalized, which means it would make a perfect gift – I’ve actually given DIY doormats as gifts before and they are always a hit. Afterall, Christmas is coming up (which is insane)!!!

Alrighty, I think it’s time to get started on this easy peasy DIY!
SUPPLIES:
Painters Tape
Garbage Bag
Sharpie
String
DIRECTIONS:
- Place your chosen letter stencil in the center of your mat (measure, just to be sure!)
- Tape down the edges of your letter stencil.
- Now for the rainbow. Mark the center of the edge of your mat with a sharpie. Tie a piece of string to your sharpie. Hold the end of the string centered at the edge of the mat and then make sure that the sharpie reaches exactly to the edge of the mat when you pull it tight.
- Draw a semi-circle with the sharpie, keeping the string tight the entire time, it’ll make a perfect circle.
- Add small pieces of tape to the outside edge of the circle you just made, continue until you finish taping the entire edge of the semi-circle.
- Measure two inches down from your top circle and make a mark. Repeat the above steps, making sure that your sharpie reaches exactly to the mark you just made when you pull the string tight. Draw a semi-circle, then tape.
- Once again, mark two inches below the circle you just drew, and repeat the above steps for the last arch in your rainbow.
- Repeat these steps on the other side of your mat.
- Cover the areas that you don’t want painted with garbage bags and painter’s tape.
- Bring your mat outside and spray paint your mat in your desired colors (I just used black).
- Let dry then peel of the tape!
- Put your mat at your front door and enjoy the cozy vibes!
