DIY Letter Board Easter Eggs
Guyssss I’m so excited about today’s DIY! I mean we all love letter boards, and all things mini… so… mini letter boards on eggs? YES PLEASE!
I am also super proud of what I used for the letters, can you guess?! It’s alphabet pasta, I just painted them white! Okay, so this egg decorating DIY is pretty dang simple, however in true letter board fashion is takes longer than you think, haha. I mean, for real, why does it take so long to change the saying on a letter board!? The good new is that anyone can make these, as it takes no artistic talent! Plus they are just SO cute and tiny!!
Okay, so I think it’s time to get started!
SUPPLIES
Eggs – Real or Plastic
White & Black Paint
DIRECTIONS
- Mix a little white into your black paint to make a dark grey, then paint your eggs (I did two coats). Let dry.
- Lay out your pasta in the phrases you’d like.
- Paint your alphabet pasta white, and let dry.
- Glue your pasta onto your eggs with tacky glue.
- Draw lines across your egg to resemble a letter board. Ps. It’s way easier to draw them after you have glued your letters on. I also just made lines on the front of the egg, and not all the way around.
- That’s it! Enjoy your cutie easter eggs!
