I love a good theme, I’m also loving this trend of holiday tees, which I’ve been seeing a lot of lately. I love that idea, but I mean you can really only wear it once, maybeee twice, so this is my solution! A DIY temporary Valentines tee! I truly made this in a couple of minutes, and it cost practically nothing, especially because I used a t-shirt I already had.
Anyways, you could also totally make this a permanent tee if you wanted to, which I’ll explain in the directions! You can also totally personalize it with whatever color of heart you want, what you write on the heart etc.
I just whipped this up today, so we should really just get started!
SUPPLIES
Red Felt
A Plain Tee
White Dimensional Fabric Paint
Pins, Fabric Glue, or Tape
DIRECTIONS
- Print out a heart shape, cut it out and trace it onto your felt.
- Cut out your felt heart.
- Take your fabric paint and make “stitches” around your heart.
- Use your paint to write ‘love’ or any word you’d like, I just freehanded mine and kept it simple!
- Either use tape, fabric glue (permanent) or safety pins to attach your heart.
I can’t believe I’m saying this, but THAT’S IT for the DIY temporary Valentines tee! It is so, so easy, and the perfect last minute Valentines DIY, that would be fun to wear to work, or wherever you are throughout the day.
